EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
What is an Employee Assistance Program?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional, confidential coaching
service available to your employees and their immediate family members. The
service is free to the user. Wendy Wicks is a qualified, experienced professional
who has over a decade of experience training, coaching and consulting in
the workplace.
What kind of assistance does the EAP provide?
Wendy offers short-term, solution focused coaching. Most organisations provide
approximately 6 hours of support under the scheme. Coaching is informal,
friendly and outcome focused.
Coaching support can help to:
- create clarity
- identify options
- create structure
If after 6 hours,
it is recommended that if
the employee/family
member requires further service, the employer may either extend
the service or recommend that help be sought outside of the program. The
individual
will then be responsible for any further costs.

What kinds of issues can the
EAP help you to address?
The EAP exists to help with any personal or work-related issues including:
- Phobias
- Addictions
- Family Issues
- Relationships
- Communication
- Conflict Resolution
- Sadness/Worry/Anxiety
- Workplace Concerns
- Emotional Stress
